Supernatural Official Convention: SF

San Francisco Con took place at the Hyatt Regency SF Airport - 7-9th July.

It was the last OFFICIAL Supernatural tour. But the good news is...every con is now official. But because this con got announced back in 2019, and due to the Covid Pandemic it got pushed so many times...we couldn't believe it finally happened.

Going back...things start in the beginning and not in the middle right?

I went to this con with my dearest twin Emi. We stayed at Crowne Plaza - 7m walk away from it because the Con hotel was super expensive - to be honest. I wasn't a fan of walking in the morning with rain, fog, and wind every day that's for sure. Overall staying at hotel cons is much better.

We did our registration at 6 pm on Thursday and after that, I bought the photo ops I wanted. Also, we checked a table quickly and I ended up buying a SPN beach towell! We decided to rest and go back to the hotel.

The next day was the first con day and I woke up excited saying "It's the first con day!!!" :) I really enjoy CE cons.

The theatre opened around 10 am. Timothy Omundson was our first guest. It was the first time I met him.

Then we had Rachel Miner, that was a very emotional panel. I could feel how much she struggles with her health atm and she wants to go back to cons as quickly as possible. I hope to meet her one day. I missed the first part because I had a photo op with Chad Lindberg. He recognized me from Twitter…I was so happy to finally meet him in person. He rocks!

After this I participated in the YES/NO trivia organized by Jason Manns - I did this the first time in ATL and I had a blast. I was almost winning but I failed a stupid question. I knew it…but damn I don’t know why I raised the wrong hand.

There was a Chad + Sam + DJ panel after a brief intermission. It was hilarious.

Intermission was here and I made friends with my seat mate and we went upstairs to grab lunch before our next activities. I was guiding her since it was her first convention. Emi came to us after her David M&G! I was highly curious ;) There were a couple of things to choose from, I ended up eating mashed potatoes with bacon, etc. There is a thing about me in conventions…I’m never hungry or thirsty. The adrenaline is too high for me :)

Jason was singing, I watched a bit of it, but I had my Rich photo op next and I wanted to get that done on Friday because the last days are always more chaotic.

I was so thrilled, I mean I’ve been trying to get a photo with him since I met him at DLC4.

David & Gil gave a panel next. A little warning when you watch them…these panels tend to go south really quickly. I think they’re one of my favourite duos ever. I asked a question at minute 33:02.

They recognized me which made me super happy. They’re both kind and adorable men. I think in my next con I will grab a duo with both of them… ;)

Kim and Briana closed the theatre that day. What can I say? Another epic duo! Those two always crack me up and at the same time they give great advices to us WOMEN. And totally watch their podcast - “Wayward Podcast” it’s just marvelous and unique! They talk ABOUT EVERYTHING. When I say everything is everything!

I had autos from Gil and Chad again. And since I bought my two missing SPN books I got one of them signed by them.

Before dinner I changed my outfit to my karaoke outfit - I chose a tank top of Guns N’ Roses + Leopard animal print pants (flare format). And of course my cowboy hat, but I always use it.

We had dinner upstairs again and went to the line 2 hours before karaoke because we wanted to be in the first row (it was free seating). We got to watch “Mystery Spot” as they hosted a Free Screening Episode - Apparently was something they did before Creation Tour.

Emi, Melissa & Me

The alarm went off…it meant it was Saturday. I felt so tired this morning and plus nervous because I was going to see Mark, and he didn’t know I was at this con since I was gonna surprise him.

It was a very chilly morning - I just watched the panels and then went upstairs to grab lunch around 12:30 pm before Misha’s panel. I was extremely tired and anxious. I just spent my morning taking videos and photos.

This Misha’s panel was one of my favorites.

I didn’t have anything to do until Mark. I was chilling on a table outside the theatre when Matt Cohen walked by and said Hi to me. I was so shy because I didn’t meet him properly. Unfortunately going to Cali was very expensive so I didn’t do as much as I wanted in the con. I hope to grab photos with him one day.

DJ was after Misha, his panels are always a jewel to watch.

I was struggling with being quiet and concentrated because I kept processing that I was gonna see Mark soon and I was anxious about his reaction. It is kinda dumb I’m aware, but what can we do :)

There was a Cosplay contest, I didn’t attend I was just chilling with some friends outside before another great panel - David and Gil. No one recorded this one, it was even more hilarious that the one on Friday which was a shame that no one recorded! But after it ended I knew what I had to do…the last panel was after them and it was Mark’s. I went to meet my friend at the E row because I wanted a good seat for the photos and everyone was doing Jared photo ops etc.

“Running With The Devil” just got played by Louden Swain and he was on stage! Finally, I heard this live. After watching many many Mark’s panels on YT from CE cons I was excited to finally watch in person and experience.

I was sooooo nervous. And suddenly my friend Melissa stood and she told Mark she had a surprise for him…ooh I wanted to hide. Minute: 12. I could tell he was happy to see me and surprised so mission accomplished. He walked a lot in this panel, usually he just seats and chills. I grabbed a couple of funny pictures and he was extremely goofy in this con. Almost as if released his inner Luci ;)

In the photo ops, we immediately hugged fiercely meanwhile we were talking to the girl about the poses. No kissing allowed here apparently (boo) but we did the pose like he was pretending. Next time I will ask him directly.

I’m not a fan of my face because I was still super nervous and it wasn’t what I was supposed to do. I can’t wait to have my JPG tho.

And the next one was hugging from behind, this time I was doing it. It’s one of my favorite photos that we had. When I left I saw Frankie. I can’t he is too precious for this world.

Autos were next. I just had his. I got him to sign my spn book that he wrote. He asked me if the page was that one and then I said “Surprise!” “So you were just tweeting about if I was feeling alright and you were here the whole time.” “I was just messing with you” “Messing with me…”

And then I explained this was meant to be my first con and planned in 2019. And he was like oh yeah this kept being pushed and pushed. I also specified it was meant to be the one we would meet. Mark asked me if I got to visit the city; I said yes with Emi on Thursday and we were going to Yosemite on Monday! He was very interested in my sightseeing. We kept talking but his handler told me he needed to work…Look I’m sorry if we know each other and we were just chatting pfff. Dismissing I asked if he was going to the concert later but he needs to babysit Jonie at the hotel.

I joined my friends to chill in the hall and we went to the toilet to change our outfits for the concert. I picked a black velvet dress. After that, we sat down and I was organizing my SPN folder with every photo I took so far. And we finally could publish everywhere that we were here, since our surprises were a success!

Then I had a “Rose” idea :)

I observed Mark’s auto line, and I asked the team to ask/talk to Mark about the photos we took (Basingstoke) I wanted to make sure he would have them with quality. When the last girl was done I stepped in and he said “Roseee how are you” We started chatting and I explained again in more detail about the con, he asked when I got here, etc so I told him what I and Emi have been doing; he said he thought he saw me earlier I was in a table writing something but he was like “Is that Rose? That can’t be Rose” That was funny as hell 😂 I asked him about the photos and how could I send them to him with quality, and he said he is finding a way to make it happen, I said I could send them through a gallery or Wetransfer and it could get downloaded from his iPhone or desktop, and I pet Frankie in the end, and then he hugged me, I carefully hugged him because Frankie was in his bag on Mark’s right. That was deep and we dismissed, he asked me if I was here tomorrow I said “Of course, I have your M&G”

The concert was now. And this one was special because it was the 100th Edition!!! They even showed the first Louden Swain gig back in 2013! The differences were notorious. It’s very interesting to analyze how they reached the stage they are now, not just the band but the cons themselves. As an artist I know that feeling; the process of hating our old work and always wanting to do more and more and I’m highly ambitious. I’m proud of everything this cast achieved. They’re a huge inspiration to me, and I’m happy that I found the SPN family.

Also, a thing I noticed at this con, 80% of the people that attended were newbies - first-timers. I was speechless. I imagined they had to wait 4 years to finally experience this. You never forget your first con.

The best show so far. Jensen sang in the right corridor + Rob!!! They were a few guests that showed up and sang. And there was a cake at the end.

Saturday was done and it was memorable. Sunday was the final day of the con. And we hate that.

Sunday opened with the Gold panel, so we could sleep more. There was a quick trivia with Jason again, but I arrived too late to participate. Thankfully there is always someone recording these.

I spent my morning at David Jones's table, and I will have future news coming ;) David commented on my outfit “Im feeling rocker cowgirl vibes” I said well that’s me!!

After this, we chilled and waited for my Mark’s M&G. Frankie came with him, he is so adorable. We’re not allowed to speak about M&G, but I will only say this: I’ve done 6 with Mark so far, and this was my least favorite - Too chaotic…people talked and interrupted each other…I obviously thanked him, it wasn’t his fault…But I think everyone deserved a chance to speak. I couldn’t write my post without getting this out of my chest.

Felicia & Ruth were giving a panel but things got a bit delayed which was unusual about CE in my experience. I lost the majority of it unfortunately but for good reasons ha! Alex was next! His panel was also my favorite of his so far.

And finally, the panel with the boys arrived. Oh, my dad…between this one and the Atlanta’s I honestly think this one WON. It is by far the funniest panel ever. There is no other chemistry like this. They are indeed brothers in TV and in real life. You know what they say…family don’t end in blood.

Supposedly there would be a brief intermission before Mark’s - the last of the con, but because things were almost one hour delayed, they immediately introduced the Devil on stage. I was panicking because I didn’t want to miss it - I had a Felicia photo op, but because of this delay it also affected the time of his panel, so I could watch it all plus doing my photo op.

I asked Mark a question or more of a confession…you can hear - I’m the first one (He called my name twice I died, ok?) And my dream photo op is with Lucis - Mark & Tom Ellis.

And that was the last panel. Photo ops with Castiel were still going and I had to wait 20m to get my Felicia done. I’ve been waiting for every con for this possibility, she is simply AMAZING. We are basically the same height with is funny. Charlie and Rowena are my queens.

Then there were a few photo ops and duos left before my Mark ones. I still have more two. I didn’t want to say goodbye to him. Stupid con blues.

And finally, I was in line for Mark, ready to give my two photo op tickets when I realized I had the ones from yesterday that were already scratched…damn it. I had to return and grab the right ones. So I was one of the last, but that’s ok I mean…I knew what poses I wanted to do and I was super nervous so I arrived at Mark and showed him. He immediately grabbed me and I almost fell on him. People whistled hard and loud when I and Mark did the poses HELP. That didn’t help at all. Then we changed for the almost kissing one and the people in the room whistled on us again. I became a walking tomato. I just wanted to hide.

I was done with photo ops. And now autos were the last thing. I wanted Mark to sign my iPad. I was waiting for a girl to give me her pass to get the auto done and almost lost Mark, I was genuinely freaking out so I was running to his table.
I came to his auto table and I said “Mark!” And he said “Rosaaaa” I asked him to sign my iPad as Lucifer.

Then we just kept on talking there until he left. He had a few people coming but it was just me and him talking.

He was very curious about my sightseeing so he asked when I was leaving, and I explained the rest of my plan and asked if I was camping there - I had a day trip, and he asked about the places Im gonna visit in Yosemite, and then Tuesday. Also, I told him what I visited on Thursday. He asked me about cable cars etc and I ended up to gave him a resume because we did a lot! San Francisco is beautiful and I fell in love. Mark told me to visit the City Lights bookstore but in the end, I couldn’t go there. When he asked if I was camping, he told a story about bears...and he also knew someone that climbed El Capitan - apparently, people do that a lot.

I asked about LA next, because im finally doing the trip, and I asked if North Hollywood was ok, because everywhere is a little sketchy.

We talked about politics and Twitter and he asked if I saw him debating and that he challenged the guy 🤣 then I started to tell my perspective as people don’t hear other opinions they stay in their bubble and he said “They’re cunts” he smiled and we continued.

I don’t know when I’m seeing him again so I told him that I was supposed to do Momento Con but I chose this instead and I said he will have good people there.

He is gonna debate an anarchist the day before the con 😂☠️

Then I said about the debate interview he had on Pittsburgh (An anarchist) and he said it was hoping to uplift his subscribers and I went to talk about algorithms and social media and how Lu has been doing a great job. Props Lu!!!

We went back to LA, his autos were done and he told me I will be fine, even being two girls, I told him the zone was near the universal studios.

He was gonna return home after the con. I pet Frankie once again.

And we hugged and they said “Here it goes Mark” and he was done. And this was me done for the day. Another con where everyone complimented my hat and outfits. US is good for my self-esteem! Everyone is always so welcoming, and kind and I can’t deny that I always feel at home. There was a girl before Mark’s last auto that stopped to say she loved my outfit and that was happy to see everything was working out for me at the con. Thanks, girl.

My next con won’t be Supernatural related but Lucifer. So I’m excited ;)
