About #SPNSF

Don't say I didn't warn ya. Lots of devilish comments ahead and of course...a hell of an adventure. I finally made it to my dream state - California. When conventions clash with cities you wanna travel to...equals perfection. And this trip sure it was!

Fasten your seatbelts, the plane is about to take off.

The air I breathed when I arrived was warm with a gentle cool breeze, was the devil near? :)

We still had a whole afternoon to rest after our flight, the next day we headed to the San Francisco city to explore; thanks to our jet lag we woke up at 4 am. Our registration was only due at 6 pm the afternoon.

San Francisco Con took place at the Hyatt Regency SF Airport - 7-9th July. We stayed at Crowne Plaza - 7m walk away from it because the Con hotel was super expensive - to be honest.

But what was so special about this con in particular?

Don't know about you guys, but this one was special to me. In 2019 I was rewatching Supernatural before ending, and I explored the convention world. I decided that I would like to try these events, because honestly...I just wanted to meet them (especially a certain devil...) so I planned to attend this con specifically because I was doing my dream trip in 2020 (the con was in June) and I organized everything to travel to California that month. I decided to do this after my first US trip in October to NYC.

I remember writing everything down about this. From LA to LV, to SF...and all of the astonishing national parks I was gonna visit + the con. I was doing Gold back then, and I was always checking photo ops and panels on the internet.

In March I heard about this "covid" thing, it was my b-day on the 12th. I was going to buy my tickets. But the quarantine happened quickly, and the world closed. I remember asking my friend - who lives with me - she was going with me (it was her dream trip too) and said "We're still going right? This is just for a few days." But it lasted months as we know. And this con kept being pushed and pushed...last year I quit going. But this year after experiencing the first CE convention - Atlanta - I decided I needed to do the LAST OFFICIAL Supernatural convention tour. Now there isn't this title anymore of the "official". They're now called - Creation Tour. And in Europe, there are lots of different conventions of Supernatural.

But still, it was very emotional even for the cast. They all felt like it was a family reunion.

Usually, I post everywhere about my trips, but this time I didn't. I was doing a surprise for Mark because he didn't know I was attending.

I met my friend Melissa from Twitter, and she was happy to introduce me as a surprise during his panel - it was the first interaction I was gonna have with him.

You can check his reaction at the minute - 12.

I was so nervous, it's stupid, isn't it? We know each other for years, and he still makes me feel nervous. So after the surprise, I could finally announce to the world where I was...

I met wonderful people once again, it's one of the best things about these cons.

Me and Mark talked in the auto tables both days, about lots of stuff. He was very interested in town about my sightseeing. He knows how much I wanted to be in Cali. Also, he told me that he had the impression of seeing me in the vendors somewhere, he was like “Is that Rose? It can’t be Rose.” Damn it! :D

After the event, the con blues started and me and Emi headed to the Diner next to the Hyatt.

Guess what, the best way to battle con blues is to book more cons. We already had Nashville planned, so we literally...added an extra one. Well, check my "About Me" to follow where I will be next ;)

Until next Monday for the full report!
