The Devil In The Details

The wait is over! The Devil arrived from the depths of hell to bring some news of his recent work, plus his career and convention experiences. As well as his earlier days.

If you read my post about - BASINGSTOKE COMIC CON you know I worked with Mark Pellegrino there, and I interviewed him, and we did a quick photoshoot at the Impala - The Dark Huntress.

The first part of his interview is now available in my Interviews section:

The Devil In The Details with Mark Pellegrino pt.1

Also, I released at the same time the gallery with his photoshoot. I have so many ideas for the next one! It was a very fun experience, and I'm not going to lie, I felt the pressure because I was working with the person that inspires me the most. The person that I identify the most with when it comes to views on philosophy, politics...life in general.

I wanted to deliver the perfect photo, the perfect moment. We didn't have much time tho, as he had the last autographs to do, but well I'm very happy with the result.

The man plays my favorite character of all time - Lucifer in my favorite TV show - Supernatural.

Let me tell you my story:

I was twelve and I used to buy these teen magazines, and these brothers - Jensen Ackles & Jared Padalecki were there, they were talking about this show SUPERNATURAL. It immediately caught my attention, it was on season 3 back then. I kept collecting their posters and their interviews. The next year I downloaded all episodes and became absolutely hooked and addicted. This show along with True Blood opened my path to TV shows addiction forever.

I was looking forward to the Season 5 premiere. And they were to be in my country - Portugal for a fan meeting! The boys in my town...just wow! Unfortunately, it got canceled. It still hurts. But at least I managed to meet them at 27 years old. I was a Dean girl at that time.

When Lucifer showed I became completely obsessed with the Devil and everything that surrounded him. I searched about the fallen angel, and damn Mark delivered it perfectly. The Rolling Stones were my favorite band already, so literally I knew I had "Sympathy For The Devil". I wanted Lucifer to win, and still do. Because he deserved that. I understood his cause, the way he felt after all, we all want to be loved and be understood by the people we love.

Years and years have passed, and I watched Supernatural until season 10, but I was watching a lot of shows at the same time, and back then they would release one episode a week, and the seasons were much bigger, I got lost and forgot some stuff, so I decided to stop that show and some others.

In 2019, I discovered it was going to end in season 15. I was like "Impossible, it is really going to end?" I had no idea what was going on. I was watching Lucifer on Netflix, crushing hard on Tom Ellis, and obviously, I missed Supernatural so much and started to feel a certain odd nostalgia. So I binged the first 5 seasons in a month. I missed Mark Pellegrino. When I saw season 11, it became my top 5 fav seasons and I immediately crushed hard on him when he showed in those cage scenes. That was my end folks! I created a Twitter, not only because I wanted to follow the cast, but because I wanted to share my work and meet people from the fandom. So Mark was an actor that I admired a lot, and my favorite character ever. In quarantine, we started to trade a few likes and tweets. Then he started to reply to me and we met on a Zoom cameo call. Then we didn't stop tweeting each other, and I discovered that I and Mark shared the same music taste, horror movies, politics, philosophy, and life views. We created a community, I mean he did! I was part of it. And because of him, I created friendships from all around the globe. We also did Zoom regularly with our friends.

When I created my brand - Dusk Riders Apparel, he started to follow me and support my newest project.

Then I finally met him, in - DLC4. If you didn't read my experience...go :)

He called me a friend many times, so I'm thrilled that I managed to have the Devil in my life. The true Lightbringer that inspires me, and delivers so much joy in my life.

Thank you, Mark.

Tell me your story!
