Paris Manga - Second Day

I was in the queue to enter again, and this massive rain made its perks. I arrive soaked wet to the convention. My hat was tho, though it protected me. I was happy to be wearing a leather jacket. I met Regina inside and I bought this fluffy devil cat plushie that I wanted Mark to sign today. We walked until the signing and selfies again. Basically, the schedule was exactly the same both days, except today there wasn’t a panel (which is sad because I love those).

We let people go first because we wanted to talk with Mark and everything - his handler Alex knew already perfectly that we were the couch per se, meaning we were there with him the whole time; quoting her “He wants it so…” When we were finally the next ones and he was like come here now with a gesture like you should be here already. Sorry Devil. The best for last. Katrin and Lu joined in in time! While in line we met Sophie, a lovely girl who was his fan. She said to us that it was funny because when she saw Mark all she could see was Lucifer. I made sure to say so to him later…of course, he laughed.

We talked about Horror movies and told him about my experience with Ratter, since he recommended it, I told him to watch “30 Coins” a good Spanish horror TV show from HBO. Me, Mark, and Alex spent minutes trading horror movies and talking about experiences. My poor girls didn’t fancy those movies. We took more selfies, he grabbed my phone and kept on clicking. He told me he had a panel, but it ended up being canceled. We hugged and we said goodbye, for now, lunchtime was here.

I spent this hour filming and capturing the vibes of this convention. There was a lot to film, amazing cosplays, people were having a lot of fun, and there were so many different activities! I never saw a con like this before.

It was time to get more Marky again. We spent nearly two hours talking. From BJJ, and anxiety of separation from Frankie, Mark’s addictions are clearly books, BJJ, and horror movies. Lu and I told him about Patreon, I think it’s time for Mark to get a new platform to engage with the community since Cameo took the lives and everything…I said, “Mark you need to become an influencer” ;)

Meanwhile, he was signing and taking selfies he gave me his hellhound Frankie, so I walked him and took care of him while his dad was busy working :)

I showed him my newest tattoos, I was very proud of my friend who is starting; he said she was very talented - she has only doing this since a month ago. Mark was still doing the sugar thing, but he had to eat a sugar thing because he needed it. I told him I wanted to bring him a chocolate from Portugal next time.

We had fun listening to Mark’s French, he got so much better! I told him he needed to learn Portuguese, but he said no way because he speaks super fast ha!

The photo ops were now! Before me and Mark scheduled to meet after to do the video of my brand.

Alex took note of the photos and quantity our group was doing; we had a group family photo again, and this time Frankie joined in :) When we were there I saw him walking towards us, because he wanted to be in the pic.

I sandwiched him with Regina this time :)

My turn to do my solo OP’s. I grabbed my red sunglasses and I reached him saying “Who is the big bad devil?”

The next OP was well…this one and I grabbed Mark on the leg and we almost fell… to the floor TWICE 😂 I love his face here so much.

The social media guy took some backstage pics and he commented he saw me on social media posting about the con a lot! I’m sure it is a good thing :)

Now it was my turn to do the video, I waited for Mark and Alex but I found the long wait quite odd, Lu found Alex and I misunderstood the place oops, Mark finished his signing and then we went to produce our video. I told a guy I was talking to in the queue that he could go first because me and Mark had business and he said I don’t wanna know with a naughty voice 😂 welp

I said to him I was happy with the photos we took - all of them I genuinely adore.

I picked a great location to do our video, and when I reached my iPhone to read I saw that my flight company had canceled my flight…I panicked but my friends calmed me and it was time to do the video, so I would have to worry about that later.

The video turned out much better than I planned. He said I had a great voice projection! Thank you Mark for everything. Seriously. We hugged and squeezed in the end. I didn’t feel con blues this time because I spent my entire weekend with him and I was more stressed about this cancelation. It was my first time in a canceled flight.

All turned out great, Lu walked me to the airport where we said goodbye to Regina; I managed to change my flight to Porto instead of Lisbon, and I slept in the same hotel I did when I went to DLC4. It is the best hotel I stayed in Paris.

Mark in Saturday’s panel

Stay tuned for next Monday! There is the main video coming + photos I took of. Mark during his panel :)
